Register for Site/Forum at once?

Would it make sense for when you register to add content to the site, you are also registered to the forum as well under that identity? I think it'd make sense, since the activity on the forums is integral to the database itself.

It may be something that I do down the line, but as the two are kept in seperate databases, it will take some work.
