Transformers: Monstrosity

Postby pnova » Fri Mar 15, 2013 12:19 pm

How should

Transformers: Monstrosity (2013)

be listed? It is release digital for #1-12 then June all 12 issues are released in 4 issue mini series. But can when it gets to June release of #1 2 #1's listed under same heading #1 March 2013 #1 June 2013 - or does the database block it has a double entry or should there be a new entry for the printed or the digital one?

You could use Transformers: Monstrosity [I] (2013) for the digital release, and Transformers: Monstrosity [II] (2013) for the print comic once it is released.

Yeah, that's how it's been done with DC's Digital First comics.

Unless IDW do what they have done with the Fall os Cybertron one - named the print copy Spotlight. So they might do this for these issues - but can find out when released.

How should the TPB be listed when its released later on?

It reprints (II) #1-4 which reprint the digital (I) #1-12 with (II) showing that they reprint (1). So should the TPB be listed until the printed collection or digital collection?

I would say print as it's a physical copy. Keep them separate. Especially if there is a digital collection later one.
