I'm sorry, I guess I was confused. I didn't think that the data needed to be maintained on every version of the issue. That seems quite clunky. I think something still needs to be done differently about variant covers. It would be best if the characters only needed to be entered on 1 version and the...

X-Men #200 Errors

There seem to be data conflicts between the 3 versions of this issue (which are just variant covers.) Arnim Zola is a character on 2 out three and there is a synopsis in only 1 out of 3.

Synopsis

I forget if it was decided to allow solicitation text as a synopsis. I don't particularly like it, because it is rarely accurate or informative. However, someone has recently been doing it on several books. More importantly, several of them have been on the wrong issue! So, if it is decided that a s...

Collection Feature Request: Cover Gallery per Title

Would be possible to have a cover gallery link in each title of a collection? Instead of paging through every cover to get to one title you could quickly browse within the desired title.

When browsing groups, articles (at least "the") is properly formatted at the end of the entry. However, when adding a group to a character, they are sorted with the "the" in front. Is there anyway to fix this?

I think this would be great in the the main collection page to expand to title to list issues in your collection.

The Devils Due Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms variant covers are 5.95 vs. 2.95 for the regular covers. And they have separate order numbers, and are actually lettered on the inside covers.

Another thing to keep in mind, some of the new variants coming out have different prices cover prices.

I agree, and I would love to even have a comicbookdb branded local database program. :)

So, I started thinking about this, seeing how the Civil War: Front Line series seems to have many stories per issue. Maybe each issue should just have numbered stories. Story #1 will always be filled out, and will show up in the index and every story would get creator credits (which you could clone ...

Uncanny X-Men Annual

The current entry for last weeks Uncanny X-men Annual is numbered "2001Annual" in the Uncanny X-Men (1963) title. That's not correct is it? The index information seems to list it as a seperate title: "Uncanny X-Men Annual (vol. 2) No. 1, August 2006" Even if we should keep it in ...

Requiring the creator fields to be filled doesn't really help, because you can still just clone an issue without changing the old creators.

Perhaps now that the database is a good size, there should be a requirement that new issues cannot be added unless they contain full size images, creator information and perhaps something written for the plot or charcaters. Some requirement that would prevent someone from jumping in, hitting the clo...

Warp around covers

Any thoughts on a good way to show wrap around covers? The thumbnail could just be the front, and the full size could show the wrap around.
