Re: comiXology Sale

Yeah there is no problem with variants. The only problem is the comics that have multiple covers that are not exactly considered variants.

Just for more info: Google Chrome with AdBlock just shows the one pop up a day.

Re: comiXology Sale

On a side note my LCS actually uses comixology for our pull lists. Decent site, but as of yet no way to indicate if you want more than one issue for some reason, and they often list regular comics with 50/50 covers only once so their is no way to indicate you want both. My comic store owner knows wh...

Re: Easy Editing on Page

The read/unread feature is kind of difficult to use, so I don't even bother anymore.

Re: [SUGGESTION] Ability for more finely tuned grading

I never use the grading part, but it probably isn't that hard to expand it for the people who want to use it.

Re: Why have several issues been deleted that I added?

Nothing keeps you from adding them. ;) I know, but I'm just so lazy and there are so many comics to add. :( Why can't there be some computer program that searches Amazon, eBay, Mile High Comics, Comic Vine and Comics.org and then automatically adds the comics to our database, complete with creator ...

Re: How complete is the database?

It would be nice to be as thorough as IMDb (probably my favourite site on the Internet), but they have many people working full time on that site. Plus everyone knows if you want to know anything about any movie ever you go there. Comics don't really have a central place like that yet. I like this w...

Re: Nudity in Thumbnails and Covers

I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, it probably just came up with another issue. I hardly ever look at that anyways.

Re: Suggestion: One-click "add to my collection"

I actually just add the date purchased and where, and for what price when it comes to incentive variants. If we could set defaults I could use it to a certain point, and it would work nicely.

Hmm, I could see the usefulness of this for some people, but I would never use it.

Re: Beat up old comic covers...to post or not?

There are two schools of thought on this. First the "it's better than nothing" idea, which is probably is probably the one I would go with in this situation. The other situation is "if there is a bad pic we won't know until someone complains about it" idea; if there is no pic the...
