Liam Webb holds a Bachelor's in English and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Master's in English and American Literature from New York University. His Master's thesis was "Transatlantic Influences in the Development of Popular Literature in the Early 20th Century" which looked at the thematic and form development of the American comic book from previous literary traditions of England and America.
Liam has ten years' writing and editing experience. He was Executive Editor of the Comicbook Artist Guild's graphic novel "Iconic", editor on "Iconic 2", and ghost editor on the Guild short story book "Worlds Beyond" when he caught the galleys going to production. He was also a writer on "Iconic 2" and "Worlds Beyond", and very last minute writer-contributor to "Iconic" when another story dropped out. He was a production intern at Free Lunch Comics and editorial intern at Marvel Comics. Liam has also written short films for Firesite Films LLC, of which "The Tillinghast Nightmare" is in pre-production as of late 2012. He also has numerous freelance copy editing and writing credits including writing for newspapers, medical jobs, historical and sundry projects.
In mid-2011, Liam began his own publishing company, Red Branch Publications, which produces books, comics, and children's books. Red Branch's first two publication was made available in November 2012 and as of May 2013 he is finishing the other twenty books for scheduled release late 2013.
