Andrew was your typical geek and nerd, but one who taught himself how to summon demons. He teamed up with two other town super nerds, Jonathan and Warren, to defeat the Slayer and take over Sunnydale. As Warren becomes more serious in his goals and evil in his methods Andrew is very much lured to the dark side, but after Warren kills Tara Maclay and is subsequently killed by Willow, Andrew decides to hit the road and travels to Mexico with Jonathan. The First Evil lures him back to Sunnydale where he is tricked into killing his best friend. After being captured by Buffy, he tries to redeem himself and fights alongside the other Scoobies in the battle against the Turok-Han army. After this Andrew becomes a Watcher and relocates to Rome.
