Search for 'Darkveil' on Amazon

Darkveil is able to create pocket voids with his fan through the use of Darkforce energy. Each time Darkveil has been seen using his powers, it's with the use of a personal fan (he stepped out of the fan onto a stage to emcee a Mutant Pride Parade for example). At this point, Darkveil has only ever been seen using his mutant powers through the use of his fan. Whether or not the fan is needed for him to truly use his powers or not, is currently unknown.

Darkveil is a mutant who emceed a Mutant Pride Parade in Manhattan. During the festivities Mr. Sinister sent his ice golems, based off of Iceman's powers to attack the parade. Darkveil got involved in the fight when she saw Black King (Emma Frost) join in the battle. Darkveil is also a well known and fabulous Drag Queen that goes by the stage name of Shade.

Marvel's first ever Drag Queen Superhero, created by writer Sina Grace and artist Nathan Stockman.

Initially introduced in Iceman (2018) #4 as Shade, an Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe entry contained in Uncanny X-Men: Winter's End (2019) #1 revealed that to be Darnell's drag name while her superhero code name was actually Darkveil.

First Appearance: Iceman (2018) #4
