Billie-Joe Drummond

Search for 'Billie-Joe Drummond' on Amazon

Billie-Joe was married to Hank Drummond and together they had a son, Bobby. Hank absolutely did not want a child with Billie-Joe, even at one point threatening to kill the child if she didn't give it up for adoption.

One night after the baby was born, Hank took him and tried to make good on his word, throwing him over the side of a bridge in an effort to kill the baby. He was luckily found by Man-Thing and delivered to a kind doctor, Dr. Warren Thompson, and his wife Margaret Thompson. Man-Thing overheard their conversation about Billie-Joe and Hank and mindlessly went in search of Hank.

He stumbled across their house in the Everglades where he busted through the door during an argument Hank and Billie-Joe were having over where their son was. Hank shot Man-Thing numerous times, but Man-Thing continued to come at him. Man-Thing touched Hank's face and burned it, as those who know fear burn at the touch of Man-Thing. Billie-Joe found her love for Hank re-ignited, as Hank found redemption in his now injured state, and she pleaded with Man-Thing to leave them be. Mindless, but somewhat confused, Man-Thing strode off into the night.
