Mrs. Jacob Fox

Mrs. Jacob Fox was the wife of Jacob "Jake" Fox. Jake was a trucker that worked for Mac-Ray Shipping. He was also on the take for mobster Nick Trask.

During a drop of equipment (taken from Stark International) to Trask, Trask betrayed Jake and tried to have him killed so that no one would know he ended up with the equipment from Stark International. Jake was able to escape momentarily and contact another mob associate, Weasel for help in getting away from Trask. Weasel agreed, unaware that Trask was listening in on the conversation and killed Weasel as soon as he hung up the phone. Knowing the two were supposed to meet that night, Trask sent the She-Droid (which was contained in the shipment that Fox delivered to Trask from Stark International) to kill Fox. Trask had disguised the She-Droid to look like the She-Hulk, framing her for the murder of Jake.

Sometime later, Mrs. Fox approached Tony Stark, asking for help to find her husband who had disappeared. The last time anyone had seen him was when he picked up the shipment for Stark International. Tony agreed to help and as Iron Man began to investigate. His investigation led him to She-Hulk, who he wrongly believed had murdered Jake. The two fought, and She-Hulk was able to convince Iron Man to take her to the place where earlier, she had fought and destroyed the She-Droid, as proof that she was set up for the murder.

Finding the robot and knowing it was from Stark International, Tony figured out that Jake Fox was dirty and on the take for mobsters.

During this time, She-Hulk, as Jennifer Walters, was prosecuting Tony Stark (neither aware of the other's super-hero identities) as Star International equipment had been found to be in Nick Trask's possession. Walters was trying to tie Stark International to the crime outfit. While on the stand, Tony refused to say all he knew, because he didn't want Mrs. Fox to know that her husband was dirty and working with the mob.

Frustrated that Tony Stark was not telling the whole truth, Jennifer Walters turned into the She-Hulk and went and found Trask's hitmen, and got them to confess to the fact that Trask had stolen all of the Stark International equipment in his possession. This cleared Tony Stark of all charges.

Directly following the trial, Tony let Mrs. Fox know that her husband was dead, but lied and said he was a good man who got mixed up in unfortunate circumstances, allowing her to believe that her husband died a decent man.
