Kim - Da (Earth-1)

Search for 'Kim - Da (Earth-1)' on Amazon

Bio:
The adolescent Jor-El's first good friend. He, Jor-El, and other like-minded students would meet at a hangout called "Za's Dreamhut" (Krypton's equivalent of a soda shop) to have intellectual discussions. He would eventually become Jor-El's college roommate, and, much later, a kind of sidekick to the original Nightwing. More importantly, he was a way for an adult Kal-El to get to know more about Jor-El.

How? Unlike Jor-El, he never left Kandor, and so was one of the survivors of Krypton when Brainiac shrank the city and put it in a bottle.

Notes:
This character's name seemed to have changed in adulthood. He would later be known as the unhyphenated, "Professor Kimda", when he resurfaced on Earth as a resident of the bottle city of Kandor.
