Captain Marvel (M.F.)
Real Name: Roger Winkle
Search for 'Captain Marvel (M.F.)' on Amazon

By uttering the word "SPLIT!", the robot Roger Winkle can separate his body parts and yet is still be able to control them. When he says "XAM!", his parts reintegrate themselves.

Additionally, he has laser beam eyes, radar eyes, and an exceptional brain.

As he is powered by an amulet, he can be rather easily immobilized by removing this "battery".

He can lose control of his disjointed body parts if glass is situated between them and his head.

In truth an alien robot, Roger Winkle assumed a rather mundane Earth-bound lifestyle. He became a professor of archaeology at Dartmoor College—a campus that (perhaps implausibly) attracted a number of different super-heroes and villains.

He became the guardian of his ward, Billy Baxton, and was often seen in the platonic company of Linda Knowles, daughter of the college's president.

This Captain Marvel is variously seen working with and without a mask. Also, his "power battery amulet" is sometimes swinging from a necklace—where it would be temptingly easy for a villain to remove—and sometimes not.
