Alexander the Great (DC) Real Name: Alexander Search for 'Alexander the Great (DC)' on eBay Bio: A rogue physicist who created a mass-amplifying device with which he threatened and blackmailed Manhattan in 1939. The villain calling himself "Alexander the Great" (not to be confused with the real Alexander) was defeated by Hawkman (I) whose Nth Metal was not affected by the weapon. Hawkman impaled the villain on a Roman trident and confiscated the mass-inducer for his own use. Alexander the Great II was eventually revived by Ian Karkull in 1941. Hawkman (I) and Hawkgirl (I) defeated the villain and then joined the JSA in defeating Karkull. Notes: First Appearance: None listed.
