Frederich Stoltz has worked all of his life to learn, perfect, and control the laws of time. He has spent the past ten years researching ways to travel throughout time and space. He has traveled the globe searching for the time sphere. Cautioned by colleagues and instructors, he garners Hitler’s attention with his theories, and continues to encourage the perils of time travel. He is a proud man, who wants to prove God and Nature wrong. His fragment of Quantum (or “Fels der Alter”—Rock of Ages), which is also the largest, gives him the ability of feel the ebb and flow of time; essentially, he can feel disturbances in the space/time continuum.
Frederich Stoltz is a scientist in the employ of the Fourth Reich under Kristof Hitler. This is an age when the Nazi party never lost WWII. “America” as we know it has been governed by Germany for over 60 years. Though Stoltz is technically a Nazi, he is indifferent to Hitler’s ideals. Stoltz has borne the scars of living under the Hitler regime—having lost his wife to Nazi tyranny—and has devoted his life to science in general, and temporal/ quantum mechanics in particular. Under the ruse of developing time-altering technology for the Reich, he hopes to alter history and “erase” Nazi-ism. He believes that this is his sacred purpose.
