Bio:
Son of a human mother and the demon Belial. Lived in the kingdom of Camelot, where he acted as King Arthur's mentor and necromancer. Half brother of the demon Etrigan whom he bonded to his childhood friend Iason (Jason Blood) in one of his many vain attempts stop stop the fall of Camelot.

Notes:
While the character was created by Rafael Astarita for New Comics Vol 1, this version of the character was refined and redesigned by Jack Kirby. Merlin has had many titles over his career which include the Sorcerer, the Enchanter, the Power and the Prince of Lies.
