Bio:
Ally and former guardian of Black Widow (Romanoff), father of Crimson Dynamo (Yuri), former scientist and master technician for Russia.
In Moscow, when his son Yuri was 5 years old, Western agents seemingly offered Petrovich a deal (including a sum of cash) to join them. Ivan refused. Later, the same men attacked Ivan and his family, killing Ivan's wife and kidnapping Yuri. It was later revealed that these killers and kidnappers were actually Russian agents with the KGB.
