Elu's force shield is highly resistant to heat, cold, harsh chemicals, and sudden impact, but is vulnerable to steady pressure, electrical energy, and vacuum. It becomes a weapon when expanded swiftly, creating a shock wave strong enough to break through metal plating. Reversing the effect causes an implosion great enough to knock most creatures unconscious.
