Steven (Doctor Who)
Real Name: Steven Taylor
Search for 'Steven (Doctor Who)' on Amazon

Bio:
Steven was an earnest human from Earth's relative future who helped the First Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Vicki defeat the Daleks. Following that adventure, the Doctor dropped off Ian and Barbara in England of the 1960's and believed he was going to be traveling the universe with just Vicki. However, the pair soon discovered that Steven had accidentally stumbled into the TARDIS and fallen asleep. By the time he was discovered, the TARDIS had moved on to a new location, making Steven an inadvertent passenger.

He remained by the FIrst Doctor's side through many adventures, eventually leaving to become the leader of a new government on planet far away from the time and place he had come from.

Notes:
A co-companion with Ian, Barbara, Vicki, Katarina, Sara Kingdom and Dodo, Steven holds the record for having travelled in the TARDIS with the greatest number of other companions. While the Brigadier can lay claim to having met more companions, Steven's the best-connected of the companions that actually went on active duty with the Doctor.

At right we see him with Vicki, the most constant of his fellow companions.
