Composed out of cosmic energy.
As a Herald of Galactus, possesses the full abilities granted by the Power Cosmic.

After his last Herald was taken away from him, Galactus found a new recruit in Stardust and gave him enhanced powers. The first planet Stardust fed to Galactus was New Korbin, after he slaughtered most of the planet's defenders.

This led to the confrontation with Beta Ray Bill, who was busy attempting to rescue the Korbinites. The two fought each other, with Bill gaining the upper hand, until Stardust opened a portal to a Hellish dimension, hoping to trap Bill there. Bill managed to escape being trapped but a being named Asteroth escaped and began destroying planets. Stardust and Bill joined forces, with Stardust using his powers to open a black hole behind Asteroth, hoping to seal her away. Stardust was sucked into the black hole, and it seemed Asteroth would pull free, but Galactus sent Alpha Ray, another Korbinite construct, to ram Asteroth into the black hole.

Somehow freed from the black hole, Stardust is sent to ask the Silver Surfer to meet with Galactus. Stardust meanwhile is under orders to help the other remaining heralds Red Shift and Firelord as they combat the Annihilation fleet. Stardust again seemed to have died during the Annihilation War, but his unique energy form was able to reform once again, allowing Stardust to return to Galactus' service after the war.
