Powers:
While possessing no true super-powers, Clayface was nonetheless a superb athlete and fierce hand-to-hand combatant due to the abnormal strength granted him by his insanity

Bio:
A once-famous charactor actor whose mind became unhinged when one of his classic films was to be remade starring someone else, makeup expert Basil Karlo assumed the role of Clayface, a grotesque maniac he had once played on screen, as a means of murdering those he felt stood between him and regaining his stardom. After slaying two members of the movie cast, Clayface was captured by Batman and Robin (Earth 2) Escaping from Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane a year later, Karlo again assumed his Clayface guise and sought vengeance against Batman and Robin, twice threatening their lives before he was once more caught and returned to Arkham, where he lived out the rest of his days in dreams of his former glories.
