Abilities: John is an exceptionallyu creative problem-solver. His gift for seeing less-than-obvious solutions to complex problems serves him in good stead in his capacities at Damage Control, if not as well in his personal life. He has a knack for always coming out on top in any contest. He is understandably if obnoxiously, smug about this.
Bio: Account executive for Damage Control Inc., worked independently in "superhero insurance", but was offered a job by Ms. Hoag.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, John worked as an insurance adjuster for a large Manhattan firm. Although successful in his work, he felt the need for more challenge and quit in order to run his own, one-man firm. John's company "Chaos Reductions" served as a brokerage house for construction and engineering firms willing to work on super hero caused property damage. John's knowledge of insurance law, an his remarkable talent for problem solving quickly made his company a growing threat to Damage Control's near-monopoly in that lucrative field. Acknowledging both this talent and his possible threat to future bussiness, Anna Marie Hoag, Damage Control's Director of Operations, hired him to work for her firm.
He initially had a rivalry with Robin Chapel, but the two have become good friends and he has expressed a romantic interest in her. John has the ability to find peaceful, practical solutions to the most complicated problems. Has an odd, peaceful relationship with notorious villain Thunderball.
