Wicket
Real Name: Wicket Wystri Warrick
Search for 'Wicket' on Amazon

Bio:
The most prominently-featured Ewok in Return of the Jedi, he famously befriended Princess Leia first, then was seen behaving most heroically in the Battle of Endor.

He was naturally the unambiguous star of Marvel's Ewoks, which played up the "cuddly" side of the character and arguably missed the thematic "point" of including the Ewoks in the Star Wars galaxy. He was also shown to have an at first innocent attraction to Princess Kneesaa.

He was briefly the apprentice of Logray, but had no real aptitude for what the Ewoks viewed as "magic ritual", but what was, in all probability, the Force.

Wicket would eventually marry the Princess in a ceremony that was also her induction ceremony as leader of Bright Tree Village.

Notes:
Though this character's comic life has been most featured in Ewoks, he does have another facet, closer to the filmed original. The more serious Ewok shows itself in work not directly aimed at kids.

The Ewok waters are muddied by the fact that Lucas himself was responsible for the animated series on which the comic title Ewoks was based. This makes the two approaches to Ewoks--the apparently cuddly and the actually cuddly--both G-level canon.

If we were to read the Ewok village as a metaphor for the main Star Wars mythos, Wicket would generally be considered "the Han Solo of Ewoks".
