Bio: Not to be confused with the designation as applied to William Riker, "Number One" was the enigmatic first officer of the Enterprise, NCC 1701, under Captain Christopher Pike. Her actual name was never established.
Notes: While Paramount takes no official position on the real name of Number One--or, indeed, even her species--there have been two main theories advanced in novels and comic books. Peter David's Star Trek: New Frontier novels posit her as the near-immortal mother of Robin Lefler, a cadet seen in the Next Generation episode, "The Gift". According to David, her name is Morgan Primus. The comic series Early Voyages simply gives her the name Eunice Robbins and doesn't go out of its way to suggest she's anything but human.
