Major Mapleleaf (02 - Lou Sadler)
Real Name: Lou Sadler
Search for 'Major Mapleleaf (02 - Lou Sadler)' on Amazon

Bio:
Proudly bearing the rank of Sgt. Commander with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Lou Sadler Jr. took the code name of Major Mapleleaf out of respect for his father (the original Major Mapleleaf). As a child Lou Jr. was not his father's favorite, it would seem that he father perhaps felt anger towards him for the death of his mother. Lou Sadler Sr. was abusive towards his youngest son, beating him. As Major Mapleleaf, it seems Lou Jr. is in denial of his father's abuse, and claims to have great respect for him, and makes him out to be a saint.

When Walter Langkowski was scouting potential members for an Alpha Flight strike force to save Alpha Flight from the Aliens, The Plodex, he observed Lou Sadler from afar. Though he did not speak with Sadler at the time, Walter Langkowski was questioned by a pair of passing police officers, and admitted he was watching Sadler. The officers informed Sadler of this, and he assumed that Walter was scouting for new member of Alpha Flight. Major Mapleleaf took the incentive to seek out Langkowski and offer his serviced. Though Langkowski had reservations about Sadler being too "wonder bread" for the mission at hand, he did accept Sadler's offer to join Alpha Flight.

Saddler served with Langkowski's team in the mission to save the original Alpha Flight members, and remained a member of the team afterwards. In the time spent as a member of Alpha Flight, he developed romantic feelings for his teammate Puck II. Major Mapleleaf and Zuzha Yu eventually married and had a son.

Most recently Major Mapleleaf was involved in the battle against The Collective. The Collective quickly overwhelmed Mapleleaf and Zuzha Yu with a wave of nanotech scorpions and were eventually killed by the powerful being.
