Pile-Driver (Marvel) (01 - Jerome Whale) Real Name: Jerome Whale Search for 'Pile-Driver (Marvel) (01 - Jerome Whale)' on eBay Bio: Employed by the Mad Thinker, along with the other members of the Triumvirate of Terror (Hammerhead & Thunderboot) to ambush and capture The Avengers. The trio were actually able to subdue and capture five members of The Avengers (Hawkeye, Goliath, Wasp, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch), before beings surprised by Hercules (who was staying with The Avengers) who was able to hold them off while he freed the rest of The Avengers. The Mad Thinker fled the scene, and the subsequent whereabouts and activities of the Triumvirate of Terror remain unknown.
