Bio:
Created by John Ostrander, this character serves as a kind of "Everyman" for the Star Wars: Republic series. Popping up occasionally throughout the run of Republic, he is introduced as a very loyal Senate Guard whose previously unshakable faith in his duty for the Republic is shaken by an incredibly difficult choice he must make. He then goes underground, adopting a position that, in later years, would essentially be that of some elements of the Rebellion. Along the way, he loses everything that defines him, including his family. In his final appearance, many of the "loose ends" arising from previous appearances are tied up--not least of which how he had most recently been seen as a Republic captain in "The Seige of Saleucami"--giving readers one of the most complete pictures of a non-Jedi in the prequel era of comics.
