Bio: The son of the Golden-Age Air-Wave and the cousin of Green Lantern Hal Jordan, it was unsurprising that the other Hal would become a hero when he discovered his ability to become energy and to ride energy transmissions. For a time he called himself Maser, and worked with the Captains of Industry, a group of highly capitalist super-heroes. He was recently incarcerated by Kobra and used to seize control of the world's media resources; when freed by the JSA he was seriously weakened but was nevertheless able to destroy the satellites with which Kobra had intended to destroy a large number of Earth's cities. Later, Air Wave joined the JSA Reserves in battle against Imperiex as well as against the triumvirate of Mordru, Obsidian, and Eclipso.
Notes: The son of Larry Jordan and Helen Jordan (Air-Waves 01 and 02).
Post-Crisis he is the first-cousin, once removed, of Green Lantern Hal Jordan.
Pre-Crisis he was either the real or the "fake" first-cousin, once removed, of Hal Jordan. (He's the "fake" cousin of Hal if you believe Larry was born on Earth 2.)
