Taj Nital Search for 'Taj Nital' on eBay Powers: Taj possessed tremendous strength and his giant size made him a formidable foe (although his strength was still no match for Dracula's superhuman strength). He was also a skilled tracker. Most of all, Taj was fiercely devoted to Rachel Van Helsing and her cause(one would imagine that this was due to the fact that she saved his life from Dracula). Bio: Taj Nital was an Indian villager whose village was attacked by Dracula and some of his vampire legions. The attack was devastating, leaving Taj's wife a cripple, his son a vampire, and Taj mute. The ordeal created a gap between Taj and his wife and he left to join Rachel Van Helsing in hunting down Dracula. For several years Taj served as Van Helsing's bodyguard and the strongman for Quincy Harker's band of vampire hunters. Taj took a leave of absence when his wife summoned him to his home in India. A vampire was preying on his village and his son was accused of the attacks (Note: Taj did not kill his son when he was turned but instead he and wife kept him alive with the blood of animals). Taj returned home prepared to kill his son but it was later revealed that the attacks had been caused by one of Dracula's minions (Taj was lured home by an elaborate ruse of Dracula's to separate Harker's band of vampire slayers and kill them). After the incident, Taj reconciled with his wife and remained in India with his wife.
