Babe Ruth

Search for 'Babe Ruth' on Amazon

Bio:
None entered.

Notes:
While it could be said that the Babe's first comic book appearance was in a series of one-page strips advertising Tootsie Rolls with Captain Tootsie, like many sports figures he was first used in a purely biographical capacity. The home of a lot of comics/sports crossovers was Marvel's Sports Action, where Ruth appeared in the story, "Ralph Kiner", in August of 1951.

However, he was used fictionally first in the 1959 DC story, "How Krypto Made History" in the pages of Superboy #75.

First Appearance: None listed.
