Evil Supergirl (DC)
Real Name: Kara Zor El
Search for 'Evil Supergirl (DC)' on Amazon

Powers:
Kara possesses the same powers as her counterpart and 'cousin' Kal El.

Weaknesses:
Kryptonite.

Bio:
In an attempt to turn Kara back into the evil Supergirl who had resided with Darkseid, Lex Luthor had a special suit built for himself that housed various types of kryptonite. One was black kryptonite. He had been told by Darkseid that he could use it to turn Kara to her former self, but when he used it on her, an Evil Supergirl emerged.

A separate entity that fully functioned on her own, Evil Supergirl spoke Kryptonian and beat Luthor in a fight before taking flight and wreaking havoc across the Earth and stars. Her mission was to kill Kal El and had been implanted in her memory by her father Zor El through the use of crystals. She had firm memories of life on Krypton, of acts she and her father partook of, and of killing her mother. And she had a fondness for taunting her other half.

She had a fondness for taunting everyone, including Justice League members on the moon base. From taking John Stewart's ring and using it against him to tricking Flash into running into space where he couldn't breathe. Black Canary's Cry was temporarily effective against her, but Hawkgirl had no chance, and Martian Manhunter pressed his luck too far. During the fight her other half showed up and their battle began.

Evenly matched the two Karas fought, eventually entering Earth's atmosphere and landing in the Gotham Bay where Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman were. Batman used his kryptonite ring against both girls, and at one point was half in a frozen block thanks to Evil Supergirl. The two girls continued to fight until crashing into a construction area. Evil Supergirl switched her suit with her other self and tried to get the others to condemn her, but it didn't work.

Evil Supergirl was merged with Supergirl by Wonder Woman's Golden Lariot. Both girls had believed themselves to be the true Kara, but when the Lariot finished its work, blue suited Supergirl stood before all. The black suited girl was a phantom in her head once again, which led to a side of Kara not seen before.
