Blackhawk or Black Hawk?
Why are there two DC characters, associated with World War II, with roughly the same names? Because there aren't two DC characters associated with World War II, with roughly the same names.

In fact, Blackhawk was a Quality comics character originally. Only Black Hawk was a native DC character. Of the two, the Quality Polish aviator, and not the DC Native American crimefighter, was by far the more famous, even in the Golden Age.
