B'Tumba
Real Name: B'Tumba
Search for 'B'Tumba' on Amazon

Bio:
An old friend of The Black Panther's (T'Challa), the two attended the best schools in America and Europe together, and were fiercely competitive with each other, with B'Tumba always coming in second place to T'Challa.

After T'Challa had taken over the mantle of The Black Panther, he had to complete one final test; to find and consume a heart-shaped, forbidden herb, which only grew on the reaches of the Great Plateau, near the borders of Wakanda.

After completing this final task, the Black Panther discovered an A.I.M. operation to smuggle vibranium out of Wakanda. Knowing that the location of the vibranium mount was a secret, T'Challa relaized that Wakanda had been betrayed by an insider.

The Black Panther was captured and taken hostage by the A.I.M. agents and while being held captive it was revealed to him that B'Tumba was the traitor. Driven by intense jealousy of T'Challa, B'Tumba was recruited into A.I.M. while the two were still in college, and was now the section leader of A.I.M. that was behind the operation to smuggle out the vibranium.

Sending the other A.I.M. agents away, B'Tumba was about to kill T'Challa with a ray gun, when he realized that he couldn't, and instead, used the ray gun to destory part of the A.I.M. craft they were aboard. T'Challa then noticed a bug under the collar of B'Tumba's A.I.M. uniform and the two realized the agents of A.I.M. were aware that B'Tumba had now betrayed them.

The Black Panther was able to thwart the plans of A.I.M. to smuggle the vibranium out of Wakanda, but during the battle, B'Tumba was mortally wounded, and died in his friend's arms.
