Asbestos Man
Real Name: Orson Kasloff
Search for 'Asbestos Man' on Amazon

Powers:
None. The Asbestos man relied solely on his inventions. These included a suit and shield that were composed of his own invention “Super-Asbestos,” a net capable of catching and redirecting fireballs and a mask that resembled a gas-mask (but didn’t have an independent oxygen source).

Bio:
Upset that someone with his scientific ability was unable to achieve great amounts of wealth, Kasloff set off on a life of crime. Figuring he could gain the underworld’s trust and admiration by defeating The Human Torch (Johnny Storm), he summoned him to a battle, actually managing to subdue the Torch during their first encounter. The Torch sought out Kasloff after their first battle, and more prepared this time, was able to defeat Kasloff by burning up all the oxygen in the room. Kasloff confessed to his crimes, and was put in prison.
