Bio: Aggamon ruled the Purple Dimension for a millennium. Tricking natives from other dimensions into entering the Purple Dimension, Aggamon would force them into slaverly.
Two thieves, who were trying to steal Dr. Strange's Purple Gem, where transported to Aggamon's dimension, and like the others, were forced into slavery for Aggamon. Strange followed the two thieves and was able to have them freed when he agreed to take their place. Upon Aggamon freeing the two thieves, Strange informed Aggamon that not only would he not serve, but challenged Aggamon to a duel of mystic nature.
The two battled for hours, even draining their own life forces to try and defeat one another. Aggamon, unwilling to risk his own life, surrendered. Strange then revealed to Aggamon that he had cast a spell which would prevent his full recovery unless he freed all his slaves. Strange then returned to Earth, and found that the two thieves had actually turned themselves over to police.
Aggamon was later identified as one of the Lords of the Netherworlds. A group of sorcerors who each ruled various mystic realms.
