The Immortal
Real Name:
Search for 'The Immortal' on Amazon

Powers:
No matter what tragedy befalls him, the Immortal simply cannot die. He does not age, is completely immune to disease, heals at an impossibly rapid rate, has virtually inexhaustible endurance and stamina and is seemingly invulnerable to conventional forms of injury. It takes a superhumanly powerful blow or a direct hit from anti-tank weaponry to even give him pause. The Immortal possesses superhuman strength and the enviable gift of unaided flight. He has been in several wars and presumably had several professions throughout his immortal life.

Weaknesses:
In the past, the Immortalís recuperative abilities have been temporarily neutralized when he was decapitated or torn in half. Both injuries left his body in a death-like state until his body parts were reunited.

Bio:
The true story of the Immortalís origin is currently a mystery, even to the man himself. Due to the severe memory loss that the Immortal suffers from, he can only remember sketchy details. The only fact that is known about the Immortalís past is this. Some 3,000 years ago he was born and lived his life as a mortal human being. Then the incident occurred. Its origins were unknown. It could have been an irradiated meteorite falling from the skies, or a mystical duel between rival superpowers, alien experimentation or even a side effect of a dimensional rift. All that is known is that after the incident occurred, the Immortal was imbued with belief-defying superhuman powers and the gift of true immortality.
