Dr. Konrad Zaxon

Search for 'Dr. Konrad Zaxon' on Amazon

Powers:
None. He had advanced training in physics, specializing in organic energy. He designed an Organic Energy Attractor which could drain the power from living sources.

Bio:
While Bruce Banner was believed to have been killed by the Time Displacement ray, Gamma Base hired a replacement, Dr. Zaxon, who specialized in "organic" energy (or the energy of living beings, for this story). Shortly thereafter, the Hulk returned to Earth, and was captured by Gamma Base's Plan H (the H stands for woodcHuck, of course). The Hulk was caught in a pit, gassed into submission, and contained within the pit by "anti-matter" wires./font>

Dr. Zaxon came to investigate, and was very impressed with the Hulk's power, which he saw as "a veritable blast furnace of limitless organic energy". Zaxon claimed to plan to use the Hulk's power to help humanity, but when he returned to his quarters, he laughed like a good little mad scientist and revealed his plan to harness the power to take over the world.

He donned his armor, grabbed his Organic Energy Attractor, returned to the Hulk's prison, and turned off the anti-matter rays so that he could access his energy.

Zaxon's Attractor worked too slowly and the Hulk's power enabled him to resist long enough to get out of his prison and swat Zaxon, knocking the Attractor from his hands. The Attractor ricocheted off a wall and blasted Zaxon, killing him.
