Queen Veranke (Marvel)
Real Name: Veranke
Search for 'Queen Veranke (Marvel)' on Amazon

Bio:
Skrull princess of the Tyeranx Seven province. Skrull King Dorrek retains his throne after the Illuminati Invasion and banishes Princess Veranke into exile. Their rivalry is at the core of the science/religion rift in Skrull culture. Science priests vs. prophecy mongers.
- We are introduced to Dro'ge (Royal Priest of Scientists) and Wor'il (War Council Delegate). Together, they are responsible for the reverse engineering of the Illuninati DNA (representative of all aspects of human culture) and the creation of the next gen of Undetectable Super Skrull. They know more about human evolution and behavior than we do, to the point where they can ask Reed Richards Skrull what he knows about defeating Galactus.
- In exile, Princess Veranke immediately begins with the "He Loves Me"s and after Galactus and Annihilation, she is retrieved (SI:1) and reinstated as queen. She wants an active role in the Invasion and assumes the role of the hero in a position to cause the most damage: Spider-Woman.
