Alter Ego (02) (First) Real Name: Rob Lindsay Search for 'Alter Ego (02) (First)' on eBay Bio: When young Rob Lindsay of Los Angeles is given a strange 1940s comic book starring a hero called Alter Ego, he discovers that donning a half-mask he finds inside its pages transforms him into an adult reincarnation of the hero. But, at the same time, he is instantly pulled into a weird and colorful—and quite dangerous—world in which the heroes and villains of the ’40s are real. What’s worse, the villains—especially the skyscraper-tall Crimson Claw—are also an apocalyptic menace to what Rob knows as the “real world.” The only person who has a prayer of stopping them is Alter Ego—but that hero is now simply a confused teenager in a super-powered body, without the experience or know-how to battle such cosmic threats. The super-heroes of World War II, the aviator air-fighters of the 1940s, the timeless jungle lords and queens, all close ranks behind Alter Ego in final combat with the forces of evil, with an unsuspecting modern world at stake.
