Charming, when he wants to be. He certainly has a gift for obfuscation. He also seems quite intelligent. As he's not human, he may also have additional powers, or at least greater knowledge, than would first appear obvious. His potential meta-human abilities were vaguely hinted at, but played down, in favor of stressing his narrative arc from spy to loyal companion.
Tegan. She mostly hates or distrusts him. He's also quite weak-willed, judging by the ease with which the Black Guardian recruited him.
Non-human humanoid whom the Doctor (V) first discovered passing as a human in a boy's school in England. He was recruited by the Black Guardian to kill the Doctor (V), ostensibly in revenge for the Doctor (IV)'s successful frustration of the Guardian's quest for the Key to Time. Turlough's tenure in the TARDIS was marked by a significant period of time during which, in fact, he was a hidden enemy. Later, though, the Doctor (V) managed to extricate him from the grip of the Black Guardian, and he became a loyal and mostly trusted member of the team, bridging the gap between the departure of Tegan and the arrival of Peri. Depending on the setting of a particular comic, Turlough may therefore be working with or against the Doctor (V).
