Powers:
Jason has been shown in many of his appearances across many forms of media as having increased strength levels, along with invulnerability. This has been linked to either mystical origins or on a few occasions even some sort of healing factor.

Bio:
11-year old Jason Voorhees was attending summer camp when he presumably drowned in Crystal Lake, due to the irresponsible teen aged camp counselors.Years later, Jason returned seeking out revenge on any and all teenagers.

Notes:
Jason first appeared in a small cameo at the end of the film "Friday the 13th" (1980) and made his first full appearance in "Friday the 13 Part 2"(1981). He has since appeared in 6 sequels along with a pairing with fellow horror icon Freddy Kruger in 2003's "Freddy vs. Jason". Jason's first entry into the world of comic books was a three issue adaptation of "Jason Goes to Hell" by Topps Comics. Starting in 2005, Jason appeared in a series of Friday the 13th Mini-series by Avatar Press. In 2007 the rights to the character were transfered to Wildstorm, who are currently releasing comics of the "Friday the 13th license."
