Powers: Has gills allowing her to breath underwater.
Bio: Found swimming deep underwater by the U.S. Navy, they recruit her for a special mission. Afterwards, they offer to take her back to the mainland which she refuses to stay at sea.
In the Aquaman series, she is discovered in a secret laboratory where strange experiments are being carried out on her. Aquaman saves her, and there develops a serious love triangle between Dolphin, Aquaman, and Aqualad (later to become Tempest). Aquaman's wife Mera is jealous because of Dolphin's affections towards Aquaman.
Dolphin and Tempest eventually marry.
