Powers: Like all Skrulls throughout the universe, Prince Dezan possesses the ability to change his shape and form, to anything he may desire; he also has a long lifespan as other Skrulls-- a Skrull can be around 210 years old. Unlike most other Skrulls, Prince Dezan is a non-militaristic Skrull, wanting peace instead of war.
Bio: Dezan was born as the younger brother of the later emperor of the Skrullian empire, Dorrek.
Prince Dezan was seen talking with Zabyk and Myrn, about ways to change the imperial society. The three of them used to be inseparable but Zabyk and Dezan had a falling out, and their friendship fell apart.
Prince Dezan was imprisoned for his radical ties, and his face was hidden in an inhibitor mask, which also made sure his shape-changing powers were held in check.
After Galactus came to the "throneworld", killing Empress R'Klll and Princess Anelle, Prince Dezan was now the only living member of the original royal family, but since he was still considered a traitor to the Skrullian race, he wasn't named as the new emperor.
Raksor, Baryn and a third unnamed Skrull came to the Skrullian prison world Klarr to free Prince Dezan, believing that the Skrulls needed him. Baryn and the third Skrull were killed in the rescue operation, but Raksor managed to free the prince and took him to Kral IV, a Skrullian colony, where the Skrulls there had taken forms resembling human beings from the 1930's. When Major Syrro and the Avengers arrived at Kral IV, Raksor introduced them to Prince Dezan, and told them the reason why he had freed the infamous prince. Dezan's former partners-in-crime, Zabyk and Myrn, were about to change the entire Skrullian empire by setting off a bomb which would strip all Skrulls of their powers. Before Zabyk detonated the Hyper-Wave Bomb, Dezan decided he wanted to die with his normal face, and changed his appearance, looking as he used to. But the Hyper-Wave Bomb didn't kill the Skrulls, it only stripped them of their powers; Dezan was now a free man, and the Avengers departed. Captain America was asked by one of his teammates why Prince Dezan was considered a threat to the Skrulls, and Captain America answered that in a militaristic regime, anybody wanting peace is a traitor to the cause.
