Franklin Delano 'FDR' Roosevelt

Search for 'Franklin Delano 'FDR' Roosevelt' on Amazon

Powers:
Knowing precisely when, why, and how to ask Congress for a Declaration of War.

Weaknesses:
Crippled and confined to crutches and a wheelchair due to polio.

Lied on his job application in the space marked, "Medical History".

Bio:
32d President of the United States.

Most often seen, in the DCU, in connection with the JSA and All-Star Squadron. In some stories, his role is fairly important, as he serves the Batman's "James Gordon" role of the government figure that highlights the problem in front of the group for that issue.

His successor, Harry S Truman, is seen in some issues fulfilling the same role.

Notes:
Image placed on the dime (after his death) in honor of all his contributions to saving America during the Great Depression and World War II. Also it was fitting to put his image on the dime in honor of the March of Dimes which he founded to find a cure for polio.

First Appearance: None listed.
