Roden
Real Name:
Search for 'Roden' on Amazon

Bio:
Roden is an attractive twenty-something red-headed, arrogant, upper-class, powerful Irish Warlock.

The stuck up and vain young man is in the employ of the very wealthy British nobleman, Duke Savidge. He was hired to tutor the Duke's teenage daughter, the British Vampire Slayer, Lady Genevieve Savidge. Whom he affectionately calls Gigi.

Roden is paid by her father to be her tutor. It's not mentioned whether her father knows she's a slayer or that he's a warlock. Or what evil things he is really teaching her. But is mentioned that he is instructing her on various subjects, and also in such things as the Fox Hunt, which upper class nobility in England consider to be a sign of their noble knightly history.

However, unknown to her father, Roden had arranged not for a Fox Hunt, but a Slayer Hunt on the vast estate, to test the 18 year old Lady Genevieve's abilities.

Roden makes arrangements for Lady Genevieve to be challenged physically and mentally, to improve her fighting skills. He has a slayer kidnapped and dropped off on the estate. Lady Genevieve mentions having bad slayer dreams. Then she senses the presence of a slayer hiding nearby; a slayer ability that is typically used to sense vampires. When angered from having a shirt she liked ruined. Forgetting her own strength she accidently kills the unnamed slayer with a simple back hand slap. Thus showing how powerful and dangerous she had become.

Being a powerful warlock he is easily able to dispose of the dead slayer body using dark magicks to summon two carnivorous large winged stone-like demons from another dimension to get rid of the remains.

It should be noted that he was seen carrying in his hand a black book with a cover having mysterious symbols that represent Twilight; a symbol that Buffy has seen on those trying to kill her and other slayers; which implies that he may have a connection to some evil forces that want to bring about the apocalypse.
