Real Name:
Search for 'Ignition' on Amazon

One of the major players in Emperor Joker's bid to take over the cosmos when Mxyzptlk accidentally gave him 99% of his 5th Dimension power. Ignition joins a host of characters that form a doppelganger JLA in this twisted reality. The team consists of both known and unknown villains; Bizarro, Poison Ivy, Enigma (Riddler), and Harley Quinn on the known side and Ignition, Scorch, Skism, Bounty, and Gorgeous Gilly on the other with Jimmy Olsen as Gravedigger Lad thrown in for good measure. Ignition is the wild card that brings up questions of his origins and relationship to Superman.

Curiously, the Joker does not seem to know who Ignition really is. Ignition refers to Superman as the 'Son of Jor-El' and makes reference to Superman kneeling before his 'Sovereign'. Ignition states that the Joker is simply a pawn in the scheme of things and he also knows of Lois' value to the Man of Steel. He also seems to have made some sort of arrangement with Mxyzptlk (ACT #770) to which Mxyzptlk replies, "Oh and thanks for the ride Clyde, I promise I won't forget our little agreement." The way Ignition refers to Superman by his Kryptonian name and heritage hints towards Ignition being of Kryptonian origin.

Ignition was later seen in Pokolistan as part of the group (along with Faora and Kancer) put together by General Zod (ACT #780). Ignition served under Zod until Zod was killed unintentionally by Superman after "Our Worlds At War", and has scarcely been seen since.
